Work-Based Tutor in Sportsturf (North West)

With growing numbers of Sportsturf Apprentices, there is now an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Work Based Tutor to join our growing national delivery team. This is a field based role and you will work flexibly completing on site teaching, learning and assessment across the North West area of the country specialising Sportsturf.

 

Person Specification

It is essential you hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Sportsturf and GCSE, or equivalent in English and Maths at grade C or above. You will have a full Assessors Award & a Level 3 teaching qualification or be willing to work towards within an agreed time period.

You will have a flexible approach to your work, hold a full driving licence and be comfortable to travel as required. You must have sound industrial experience with a passion to imparting this knowledge on to new apprentices in the workplace. You will have strong administration and organisational skills and high levels of attention to detail. This role will ideally suit someone with existing educational experience or someone from industry looking for a career change.  Full training and support will be given by the College including a mentor.

Salary: £20,657 - £29,880 per annum in accordance with qualifications and experience.

Teacher qualified staff commence at minimum £24,095
